Dark and Industrial Bridal Inspo at the Flashlight Factory

From the Event Planner: “I knew I wanted a cool industrial vibe to match the dark and moody style. When I reached out to HIP at the Flashlight Factory here in Pittsburgh, PA and sent her my design board, not only was she excited to participate but she mentioned not loving her own initial wedding photos. We recruited her and her husband as our models which made it super authentic and to be a little cheesy, super romantic. Our group of vendors was looking to get a little creative and work outside the box. I love how a styled shoot allows you to get a little “weird” in the best way possible!”

“We were able to play with some different menswear and bridal styles. We wanted some soft bridal styles to contrast our edgy bride and we wanted the menswear to also make a statement. We had a lot of fun using the different industrial spaces at HIP including a cool elevator shaft, the roof and lots of exposed brick.”

“We created a few different areas, our sweetheart table, a lounge and a dessert display. This gave us the opportunity to showcase all of our vendors. I would say our overall style was dark and moody with pops of color, unique florals and rich textures.”
