From the photographer: I first met with Lauren and John back in 2019 and absolutely adored their chill energy! They’re both musicians (on the side) and play together! Their whole adventures in planning is the absolute epitome of the ‘pandemic wedding’ though their first obstacle surfaced 5 months before the big day (pre-covid). I got a call telling me that their venue has shot down unexpectedly – frantically trying to find a new venue just after the new year. Little did we know that would have been the domino effect of 2020. Once the pandemic hit, they decided to postpone their wedding to August 1st. As the early summer drew closer and realized that this pandemic isn’t really going anywhere they decided to postpone AGAIN for September of next year BUT they still wanted to be married on August 1st. With little time, they planned the most perfect backyard wedding! All that Lauren and John have been through, they absolutely persevered and pulled off such a wonderful day! I couldn’t be more thrilled for them – It was an absolute honor to capture their actual wedding day and cannot wait to celebrate AGAIN next year!
