Behind The Inspo: This is a whimsical elopement story about an adventurous couple who love the outdoors and who have an appreciation for refined elegance. Rachel and Louie’s original 2020 wedding plans had to change due to COVID-19, so they decided to have an intimate elopement in the woodlands of Pennsylvania instead! They chose to incorporate many neutral tones since the bride wanted to keep the spirit of the day as natural as possible with the fairytale-like surroundings! Rachel wore one dress for their first look together, and then for the ceremony in the field with a beautiful floral arch. Their dog, Violet was even there to take part in the ceremony and for portraits together! Once they exchanged vows, they had an intimate wine, dinner, and cake next to their ceremony in nature. Once finished, Rachel then put on a second and more comfortable dress for adventurous photos to follow! She slipped on her boots (instead of heels) to be able to climb to a nearby waterfall for their “happily ever after” kisses for the perfect ending to their elopement.
The bride and groom’s favorite part of the day was having their dog witness their ceremony and that they were able to make the entire day 100% unique to what meant the most to them!
