Jessica and Nick’s Whimsical Winter Wedding in Center City
Jessica and Nick’s modern elegant wedding was the perfect homage to winter in Philadelphia. The two began the day getting ready at The Notary Hotel, before sharing a first look at the iconic gates of City Hall. Jessica’s romantic gown by Grace Loves Lace was perfection with delicate lace sleeves and open back. Her entire look was old-world Hollywood glamour.
The groom also dressed to impress in a white tuxedo jacket, and after some fun and non-traditional portraits on a parking garage rooftop with a jaw-dropping view of the city, the couple was ready to get married at St. Thomas of Villanova.
Their fashion-forward event was dripping in classic elegance, with plentiful gorgeous florals by RAM Floral. Events by Rainstein Design immaculately accomplished the bride’s vision of modern luxury, as evidenced by the long tables for family dining, romantic pink tapers, and cascading florals that added romance to the modern space of Cescaphe’s The Lucy. While BVT’s Carnivále band kept the dance floor packed all night long, with Jess and Nick’s family and friends eager to celebrate the newlyweds.
What was most evident throughout the day was how kind the bride and groom are. Jessica’s maid of honor pulled me aside to say, “Jess is such a light. She’s the best person I know and we’re all just so happy to celebrate her.” The couple made the most of every moment of their day, celebrating with their gorgeous bridal party, sneaking away for moments for just the two of them, and sharing a vibrant cocktail hour with all of the people they love most.
