Lexi and Chris met on Match.com. Chris liked one of Lexi’s photos, which sparked a series of messages between them over the next few weeks. One night, while out with friends, Lexi mustered the courage to send Chris a message: “Are we going to text forever, or are you finally going to take me on a real date?” They arranged to meet in person, and now we’re bringing you their elegant wedding hosted at the iconic Excelsior in Lancaster City.
Getting Ready
Lexi got ready surrounded by her friends in the bridal suite at Excelsior. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and excitement as they helped her prepare for the big day. Meanwhile, Chris and the groomsmen were at the Oyster House, a modern chic Airbnb right beside the venue.
To make their special day even more memorable, the bride and groom selected signature scents. Lexi chose Libre by YSL, while Chris opted for Sauvage by Dior.
The Attire
Lexi wore a stunning gown from Martina Liana, crafted from lace and featuring a long train. She complemented her look with popular Loeffler Randall white ruffle sandals and cascading earrings. Chris opted for a fitted black tuxedo from Central PA Tuxedo for the ceremony, later changing into a white jacket for the reception.
The Details
The Stationery
Lexi and Chris’s invitation suite from Minted featured a modern design combined with fine art details, wrapped in soft vellum and adorned with custom wax seals of their initials.
The First Look
On the day of their wedding, Lexi and Chris chose to have a first look/gift exchange before their ceremony. The couple had been thinking about getting a golden retriever for years but wanted to wait until the time was right. To Chris’ surprise, he opened his gift to find a small dog collar, signaling that it’s time for the couple to welcome a sweet pup as they start their new lives together.

The Ceremony
Lexi’s mom and sister created the beautiful chuppa that they stood beneath to recite their vows and breaking the glass at the end of their ceremony.
The Reception
As the sun began to set, the newlyweds and their guests exited the patio and headed to the venue’s third floor for dinner and speeches. The merriment then continued down to the 2nd floor with dancing and desserts to close out the evening.
Food + Drink
During cocktail hour, guests enjoyed a variety of hors d’oeuvres, including a seafood station and signature drinks such as Spicy Margaritas and Old Fashions, the couple’s favorite drinks.
