Looming thunderstorms didn’t stop Lehigh Valley couple Amelia and Johnathan’s garden-style wedding at Terrain at Glen Mills The two, who first met in high school, opted to share private vows with each other during their first look—a trend we’re happily seeing more of lately. It was a special moment just for the couple, who shared their first date at Ruby Tuesday in 2013, to finally exchange vows together.

Following the ceremony, the newlyweds had a surprise awaiting their guests who, unknowingly at first, were tossing blue petals. The petals actually revealed that Amelia and Johnathan were expecting a baby boy in December!

The reception was outfitted in neutral tones and featured the bride’s pressed floral art in the seating chart and table numbers. Amelia is the owner of Element Design Co, a floral preservation studio in Allentown. Her studio is also where Johnathan proposed. So, it was no surprise to us to see a little bit of Pressed included in their wedding day!
