Growing up just down the street from each other, Hailey and Derrick frequently shared the same social circles, including their church community. As they transitioned into adulthood, their friendship blossomed into a deep and meaningful relationship that would ultimately take them on countless adventures around the world.
Their shared love for travel led them to explore far-flung destinations, from the charming streets of Germany to the breathtaking landscapes of Switzerland. Most recently, they embarked on a romantic honeymoon in Mexico!
Despite their penchant for globe-trotting, Hailey and Derrick decided to return to their roots for a hometown celebration instead of a destination wedding. Opting to elope in their community at the Cumberland County Courthouse, they exchanged vows at an 8:30 am ceremony with just their parents present. However, they still included their friends and loved ones with Hailey’s friend doing her hair and makeup and Derrick’s sister designing the bouquet and boutonniere.
Post nuptials, Hailey and Derrick hit the town with photographer Rachel Bond who took photos at a local coffee shop, Denim Coffee Co.- where the coffee was on the house for the newlyweds. Their wedding day turned out exactly as they had envisioned: Vintage, carefree vibes. And we couldn’t agree more!
