Kaylin and Ty’s Light and Airy Summer Wedding at Clear Ridge

Kaylin and Ty’s light and airy wedding at Clear Ridge, a private event venue nestled in the rolling hills of Bedford County. Featuring a soft color palette with romantic, rustic decor. If you look closely you can catch a peek of the beautiful rainbow that photographer Lindsay Eileen captured after the rain.

The newlyweds actually met back when they were in high school, but didn’t really get to know each other until a snowboarding trip with mutual friends to Blue Knob Ski Resort. Remaining friends after, these future highschool sweethearts would take their relationship to the next level after Kaylin says she impressed Ty with her dance moves at a party! Flash forward and you could find Ty popping the question at their very own going away party as they were getting ready to move to Columbus, Ohio. With their family and friends already there, the timing couldn’t have been more perfect to add one more thing to celebrate- a move and an engagement!

Amid the crazy summer weather in 2022, Kaylin and Ty still managed to host their ceremony outdoors on the lawn and were pronounced Mr. and Mrs. underneath the beaming sun with their loved ones looking on in awe. Piney Creek Greenhouse designed a pretty floral arrangement for the large wooden arch structure that complimented their soft color palette. While one special person in Ty’s life was missing, the couple still chose to incorporate Ty’s dad into the wedding ceremony. Walking down the aisle with his mom, she held a framed photo of Ty’s dad and placed the photo on a seat in the front row. It was very special and we love that Kaylin and Ty chose to honor his dad in such a sweet way. 

As the evening went on, the newlyweds could be seen dancing the night away with all their guests before ending the festivities with a sparkler exit just as the rain tapered off again.
