From the Photographer: Maggie & Tim were one of those couples who I met with an immediately knew we were going to mesh well. We had our initial meeting over FaceTime, but just hearing the vision for their day made it so obvious that they were my ideal client.
They are adventurous, spontaneous, genuine and outdoorsy. Their wedding was the perfect picture of that. November came, and I geared up for my last wedding of the 2017 season. It was a beautiful fall day and we still had colorful leaves on the trees! This was my first time photographing at Ash Mill Farm, as well as Bowman’s Wildflower Preserve; they had both been on my photog-bucket-list for years now! And they were the perfect backdrops for Maggie & Tim’s big day! From the most classic first look (you’ll have to see the photos to understand) to dancing the night away under the stars with some good beer and food trucks, their wedding was perfect in every way.
Huge shoutout to all the amazing vendors who made it happen, as well as Maggie and her HUGE bridal party for putting everything together and making the night run so seamlessly. I would photograph this wedding again in a heart beat, and am so incredibly thankful that Maggie & Tim chose me to document their day.

Maggie and Tim picked a perfect color palette for their big day. The blues and greys worked so well against the beautiful backdrop of Bowman’s Hill.
It’s not a wedding without a little cake smash for the bride and groom! The party continued throughout the night at Ash Mill Farm.
