Rachel and Matt exchanged vows against the backdrop of a truly romantic and historic mansion known as Parque Ridley Creek. Tucked inside the 2600-acre Ridley Creek State Park alongside the prestigious Main Line. The sun-drenched outdoor ceremony in August was nothing short of magical, with nature as their witness.
As the guests took their seats, anticipation was in the air as Rachel came into view, adorned in a gown that mirrored the grace of the surroundings and walked down the aisle towards Matt alongside a loved one. Sadly, Rachel’s parents are no longer with us, but two seats in the front row were specially reserved in their honor with framed photos in their place. And who couldn’t resist their adorable chihuahua, Plum, in the crowd with a wide puppy smile!
Following the ceremony, the celebration continued within the venue’s elegant halls. The reception decor was done in a way to complement rice wood panels and historic charm of the venue. The couple even planned a surprise first dance for the guests who didn’t know they secretly had been taking dance lessons!
As the evening unfolded, guests dinned on exquisite cuisine by Peachtree Catering and raised toasts to the couple’s future. Matt’s parents gave a speech which ended with his father having a friendly baseball catch as they have always done. Rachel’s sister and maid of honor shared a heart-felt speech about how proud their parents would be. Followed by a sentimental dance between the two sisters.
