Rachele and Will’s Wedding At The Philadelphia Cricket Club

Rachele and Will first met in December 2016 when they were both stationed in the Air Force in Boston, Massachusetts. Unbeknownst to them, the two had quite a few mutual friends who convinced Rachele and will to dress up for the infamous Boston SantaCon. In this yearly event, you get dressed as Santa, elves, or reindeer and participate in a bar crawl for charity. Later that night, Rachele and Will stood side-by-side at the Black Rose Irish Pub, where they shared a dance and a kiss. Inseparable from there on out.   

Between life and Air Force Travel, Rachele and Will found that home was where ever they could be together. Between deployments and living in different states, they knew; eventually, it would lead to a sweet reunion again. And almost five years from when they met, Will kept true to what he’d told Rachele the first day they met and asked Rachele to share the rest of her life with him. It was the easiest, yes!   

Rachele and Will chose to bring their family and friends together to celebrate their marriage in the NJ/PA area, which Rachele grew to love alongside Will. And where Air Force friends and family living all over the country and world could travel to the couple or tune in online. They married in New Jersey, at the Haddonfield United Methodist Church, where Will’s grandparents were members, and many family members had been married. After the ceremony, guests crossed state lines to Pennsylvania for a reception at the Philadelphia Cricket Club. The venue gave a beautiful nod to Rachele’s British and Guyanese family, who have played and enjoyed many cricket games while remaining in the city of brotherly love that Will’s family knows so well.
