A riverfront ceremony on the Delaware was the dream for Ruby and Ryan who hosted their wedding at Glen Foerd, a historic landmark situated on 18 acres in Philadelphia. The couple exchanged vows in front of an ornate baby’s breath arch that overlooked the river. It was a breathtaking view, and it was perfectly captured by Amber of Amber Dawn Photography.
During cocktail hour, guests were invited to explore the grounds and tour the inside of the mansion where they could study the artwork and admire the craftsmanship and architectural details of this 1800s estate.
The open-air tent, which also looked out onto the river, was decorated by floral design company, Camillia Faire who hung greenery and florals throughout and repurposed the beautiful ceremony arch to use behind the sweetheart table. The florals offered a warm, romantic feel to the setting.
But the true romance came from Ruby and Ryan who danced under the twinkling lights together for the first time as husband and wife, and we can truly feel the love and happiness they shared in that moment.
