From The Photographer: Alec and Savannah were married on one of the prettiest summer days we’ve ever seen at the beautiful Lakeview Farm in Dover, Pennsylvania. Savannah found us through one of our former brides, and taking the wedding journey with the two of them was nothing short of amazing! Savannah had a very clear vision for her wedding day, combining the couple’s strong faith with modern, rustic, and whimsical touches. Her ball gown was classic and suited her perfectly. They opted to follow our recommendation and take part in the “First Look” which not only allowed them a sweet private moment before their ceremony but also the chance to grab some pretty portraits before the guests arrived! Lakeview Farms has no shortage of photo spots, and their staff was incredibly helpful in making sure we got from place to place with ease! Savannah’s pastor performed a thoughtful, heartfelt ceremony that really spoke to the couple’s vision for their marriage as well as the faith journey that had gotten them to that point. Their families smiled, laughed, and shed happy tears as they tied the knot and joined their lives together with a kiss at the ceremony’s conclusion. The reception took place in Lakeview Farms’ airy, well-lit barn with joyful toasts from the maid of honor and best man, a choreographed first dance that was really quite well done and emotional dances with their parents. We closed out the night with a laughter-filled cake cutting and grabbed just a few more intimate portraits of them as the sun sank beneath the rolling hills. aq
