Shannon and Joe’s White Cliffs Elopement

From the photographer: After a short little 2 mile trek through the woods, Shannon and Joe, along with some amazing friends and family arrived at the most picturesque location on the Susquehanna. Forget Chickies Rock – that would have been much too simple of a walk. White Cliffs of Conoy is THE SPOT. The beautiful white rock provided and other worldly experience.

With the sun setting behind them, Shannon and Joe shared their vows, hugs with loved ones, and of course a couple of White Claws. Everyone circled around them for their first dance with one hell of a view and then parted ways as the couple spent their first few moments as a married couple with yours truly. I have said this from the start – Shannon and Joe are my people. They are both so humble and down to earth and compliment each other in the best ways possible.

They laugh both at and with one another and you can literally (have I said literally enough?) feel the love they have for one another. While walking back to our cars in the darkness Joe summed up their relationship. We were talking about the change of plans and Joe said, “This was for Shannon. I could literally get married in a trash can but I know she wanted a special day. Something out of the ordinary.” Their wedding day is one I will never forget and I can’t wait to party with them and the rest of their friends when we finally get the chance!
