Just outside of Pittsburgh, PA nestled within 600 acres of county park land lies a venue designed to mimic the charm of an English Countryside Estate built in the 1920s, known as The Stables at Hartwood. Where stone walls draped in ivy and the authentic stables, once home to horses, created a bucolic setting that set the stage for creating this romantic wedding inspiration.

A departure from the traditional white and clear choices, the vendor team opted for matte black tableware and smoked glassware. Reserving warmer tones for the stunning floral design by May Chester Design. While the bride, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication, wore black Jimmy Choos, adding a bold and stylish element to her ensemble.

Taking center stage was the masterpiece crafted by the talented pastry chef, Benjamin Bishop– a matte black cake adorned with a delicate lily of the valley design in white piping.

Wedding planner, Events By Emily tells us “We chose this venue because of its unique and gorgeous design. We love that it was built to resemble a Cotswold Village and has an old world charm.”

The inspiration behind this day stemmed from the historical ambiance of the location, blending the vintage allure of the past with a touch of modernity and a hint of royalty. Transporting you to the English countryside upon arrival.
