We give and receive flowers to say, “I love you,” “I’m proud of you,” “I’m sorry,” or just, “I’m thinking of you.” Flowers help tell the stories of our lives. Pressing those flowers allows us to hold onto those moments. They connect us to those important memories. As a way for me to remember those special times in my own life, I started saving flowers and pressing them between pages of books or in wooden flower presses. Now I have those flowers framed and hanging on my wall or kept safe hidden inside specially chosen books. That is what I love about what I do now - giving others the gift of holding on to the flowers from their wedding or special events.
