Erin and Kyle were most excited for a huge celebration with their guests. One of the unique features of their day was having an ice cream truck from Sarah’s Creamery at the reception for everyone to enjoy. It was a huge hit! So much so that guests were running to get in line when it showed up. Another fun feature was the oversized marquee style “K & E” letters that were used for decor at the reception. Erin’s dad actually created them for the day. He also made the honey that was given out as wedding favors to all the guests- he’s a bee keeper! The two shared a special moment at the beginning of the day during a private first look between the two of them.
The vision for the day was simplicity and relaxation, with the serene hue of sage green setting the tone. Thanks to the artistic touch of Amanda from Everyone Deserves Flowers, she expertly translated this vision into her floral design for the day.
The ceremony took an unexpected turn of whimsy when Grandma Sue took on the role of the flower girl, tossing petals with a seriousness that brought laughter and joy to all.
Their wedding day reflected the couple’s carefree nature, as they chose not to stress over minutiae and instead focused on savoring every moment of their celebration with family and friends. Love and laughter echoed through Historic Ashland as the newlyweds danced the night away.
