From the photographer: It was a day with many unexpected twists, that turned into great memories. Their wedding was so full of joy, love, and kindness and despite the rain, the couple were running through fields and loving every minute of their “backyard farm wedding.” As for how they met, In Kaylan’s words, “It’s hard for us to pinpoint when we met, we always knew of each other, or of each others families. Through our church we went to different conferences, and youth “retreats”, a few years ago he ended up messaging me after one of the times we saw each other, thinking he was overrated, and being not very interested – I swerved him. A few years later after seeing each other every summer, he took another shot. We started talking and I was so curious to see if there was more to him than “fun and games”. The more that I got to know him, the more that I loved him. I loved his attitude, his drive, his love for the Lord, how good he was with kids.”

Kaylan and Robert’s wedding was held at Historic Stonebrook Farm in Perkasie. A family owned venue known for its beautiful outdoor wedding setting, filled with rustic charm and down to earth vibes.

Kaylan + Robert took their ceremony indoors on what we imagine was a rainy day, but they made it work oh so well. Bloom Flower Co created a romantic setting with the floral arch, giving the feel of a more intimate ceremony. Surrounded by their closets friends and family you can truly feel the love.
