Wedding celebrations are always filled with personal touches, and Courtney and Craig’s big day was no exception. Held on the hottest day of the year, with temperatures soaring to 95 degrees, the heat was the only hitch in an otherwise beautiful sunny day surrounded by family and friends.
Courtney’s attention to detail and love for planning was evident throughout the day. Her “something old” was her grandmother’s engagement ring, while their wedding bands served as the “something new.” She borrowed her sister’s veil and incorporated an autism awareness ribbon on her bouquet for her nephew, making sure she hit all the traditional wedding good-luck charms.
The couple’s cat, Creeper, was a constant presence throughout the wedding. The signature drinks were named after him, with “Espresso Creeptini” for Courtney and “Creeper’s Gin & Tonic” for Craig. Even the cake topper featured the feline friend.

During the reception, Courtney surprised one of her closest friends with a donation to the ALS Association in lieu of favors, in honor of her father who was recently diagnosed in 2022. It was a touching gesture that made the day even more special.
Courtney and Craig have known each other since elementary school, but it wasn’t until after college in 2014 that they actually hung out. One night out at a bar with friends, Courtney thought Craig was so cute that by the end of the night, she walked right up to him and asked if he wanted to make out. The rest, as they say, is history.
