Emily and Joe’s Philly Art Museum Engagement Session

Emily and Joe's Philly Art Museum Engagement Session

Joe’s proposal to Emily was nothing short of a fairy tale. He whisked her away to the romantic city of Paris, where every detail was carefully planned to perfection. The couple stayed at the luxurious Shangri-La Hotel, and Joe arranged for a car to take them to the Peninsula Hotel. There, a planner orchestrated a breathtaking floral display, accompanied by a violinist playing on the rooftop before Joe popped the question with the Eiffel Tower in the background.

As the excitement of the engagement settled, Emily and Joe turned their attention to planning their dream wedding. While many decisions were still to be made, one thing was certain – they had set their sights on Charleston for their big day. Drawn to the city’s rich history and Southern charm, Charleston provided the perfect backdrop for their spring 2025 wedding.

For their engagement session, photographer Annie Paige initially planned to visit Longwood Gardens, but fate had other plans. Due to scheduling conflicts and a garden closure, they had to adjust their plans. However, the iconic Philadelphia Museum of Art turned out to be a blessing in disguise, providing a stunning backdrop for their photos.

Emily looked breathtaking in two elegant dresses from Anthropologie, and Olivia Garvin’s makeup artistry transformed her into a naturally radiant beauty. Completing the look, Cassidy Jordan from Philadelphia crafted a flawless updo that perfectly complemented the overall aesthetic.

This engagement session was part of a giveaway session with Annie Paige Photography and Pennsylvania Weddings. Annie is a wedding photographer who has relocated to the Philly area from Main.
