Sarah and Chris’ Wedding at Manorhouse at Prophecy Creek

While attending Conestoga Valley, Chris and Sarah were basically living in parallel universes despite wandering the same middle and high school hallways. Chris was into sports, conquering the football and lacrosse fields, while Sarah was more on the artistic side, juggling theatre, art, and dance.

Fast forward to the eve of 2015  where Chris and Sarah found themselves at the Brickyard Restaurant and Sports Bar, each with their own squad, oblivious to the fact that destiny was about to drop a beat. When Sarah hit the dance floor, she collided with Chris, and the sparks flew faster than the confetti on New Year’s Eve. Little did they know, this  encounter would set the stage for their very own love story. Soon enough the two were engaged when Chris decided to pop the question at the Christmas Village celebration in Center City Philadelphia. Against the backdrop of twinkling lights and festive cheer. 

When it came to choosing the venue for their dream wedding, Chris and Sarah didn’t need a magic mirror to tell them that The Manor House at Prophecy Creek was the one. The picturesque landscapes and enchanting manor provided the perfect canvas for their fairytale nuptials. Embracing a pastel color palette, the couple created a whimsical atmosphere that echoed the magic of their love story.

And what’s a Philly love story without some Philly flair? The LOVE statue, a symbol of their hometown romance, took center stage on their wedding cake, paying homage to the very spot where Chris asked the most important question of his life. The Philadelphia Eagles, beloved by the groom, made a spirited appearance with a football-tossing moment that had all the single men vying for the bride’s garter, plus an epic bouquet toss on the bride’s side! The night ended with the triumphant chant of the Eagles fight song, echoing through the air.

From high school hallways to holiday proposals, this couple has shown us that love is not just a four-letter word – it’s a grand adventure waiting to be written, one dance floor encounter and heartfelt proposal at a time!
