Sam And Tyler’s Rock N’ Roll Themed Wedding At Pittsburgh Botanic Garden

Sam and Tyler’s Rock N’ Roll themed wedding at Pittsburgh Botanic Garden was one for the books. Literally, as it graced the pages of our 2022 magazine. 

When guests receive invitations to attend your wedding, they’re hoping to be welcomed into a space overflowing with your unique personality and story- and Sam and Tyler got the memo. These two decided to plan a fete with a ’70s rock n’ roll vibe as an ode to Tyler’s career as a musician and producer, a few things have grabbed our attention more quickly than this cool theme!

Like most other couples we feature, Sam and Tyler spent their mornings getting ready separately with their bridesmaids and groomsmen. They decided to see each other for the first time on a sun-drenched bridge near the location where they would wed at the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden, Just like them, this moment was relaxed, cool, and so filled with love. 

Guests were welcomed to the Botanic Garden’s Pierce Celebration Garden, where rows of chairs faced the stone and rustic barn wood doors that served as a backdrop. Of course, Sam and Tyler wanted to add decor, so modern cutouts and stunning flowers in warm shades of yellow, orange, and rust provided art deco flair.

During the reception, guests floated between the clear top tent and the Botanic Garden’s restored 1870s barn, which served as the dance floor’s official location. And, the dance floor may have been the most important spot! Thanks to Tyler’s career, he and Sam count many incredible musicians as friends, so they all joined together to play live music throughout the entire celebration.
